RBWM Report It : Report a problem with overhanging trees and shrubs

One of my absolute bugbears is residents who believe it is OK to allow their hedge to take over half the pavement or more!

Three more reported today via the Report It function

Report a problem with overhanging trees and shrubs

Parents with a pram or a small child have to walk into the road… disabled people have to walk into the road… older residents struggle through… totally unacceptable.

I use the Report It function, it works. I saw one I reported a few weeks back being trimmed today… poor job, so re-reported as made it look tidy but still taking over half the pavement and being completely inconsiderate.

Rant over… if you feel the same, take pics and report culprits, takes less than 1 minute and within a few days they get a letter and generally sort it.

Hi Jon,
I know and feel your pain but I have written loads of emails/letters to the RBWM about the lack of care on the green in Birch Grove which continually falls on deaf ears! Over grown trees hanging over pathways, trees that block out all my sun in winter. 🙈
I’m not asking for them to be cut down just maintained! When work is done it’s the bare minimum and the broken is back in 2 months.
HELP NEEDED 🙈
