I became the Tesco Dedworth Community Champion back in October last year and started emailing a list of contacts made up of local community groups, charities, schools and others who are interested on a regular basis.
This now numbers 177 people / organisations who are happy to hear from me.
I share news about up and coming events & initiatives that I’m involved in. Many or these I do with my Tesco hat on but I am also a Rotarian and have run a blog for many years and so I share other stuff that I think will be of interest to other Community Champions.
Below is half of the email I sent out today…
If you’d like to receive my random Community Champion emails then please, sign up below and I’ll add you to the list. Thank you.

ENVIRONMENT – JULY & AUGUST
I’ve come up with a “Schools out for Summer” which gets our young people thinking about what Tesco are doing to help minimize their impact on the Environment… I’ll be launching that Saturday morning in the store. Just had a note from the printer, only ordered yesterday pm, already on its way to me!
