I have to say, today’s service conducted by The Vicar of Bray with Braywood, Rev’d Ainsley Swift, was probably the best I have ever attended.
There was a short service, a 20 strong choir, focused on the military, the full national anthem, a bugler and words by old soldier and RBL committee member Geoff Hayes.

“When you go home, tell them of us and say
For your tomorrow, we gave our today.”

I’d helped Geoff with the road closure in my capacity as Deputy Clerk and so was interested to see the event.

The road is closed and the cubs, brownies and other packs lead by a band, choir and wreath bearers marched from St Micheal’s Church to the War Memorial 500 yards away.
Thank you to Jack Rankin MP for laying the wreath created by Lilliput Learners in Windsor.

Thank you.
