We launched our first Windsor Directory in March 2024, updating it in December 2025. And in December 2024, our first Maidenhead Directory. Time to step things up a gear 😉
- We’re adding community engagement measures
- And enabling local businesses to participate, these will be recognised in a borough wide business directory

Creating community engagement measures for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
The UK Government is looking for businesses, of all sizes, to start recording how they are helping the community around them.
Looking at what is logical and relatively easy to monitor, I Love Windsor CIC has come up with the following “Magnificent Seven” measures and will be encouraging Community Groups and local businesses to adopt them. If we all use the same measures then they become relevant. If we all do different things then it’s all just a confusing noise.
WAMHub Magnificent Seven
- Number of employees
- Number of volunteers
- Number of volunteer hours
- Income / Turnover
- Expenditure with companies within 5 miles
- How many individuals do you help each year
- How many local community groups do you engage with
To help you calculate your “magnificence”, ask your employees to share with you information relating to any referrals they may have made to local community groups.
We’ll happily add new entrants to our digital versions in real time and include them in the next hard copy editions. Complete the form below and we’ll be in touch about pictures and logos:
We’ve created 3 form options to ease the process:
- For those community groups and charities that are already listed in either our Windsor or Maidenhead Directories, we just need you to complete your Magnificent Seven measures
- For NEW charities and community group registrations
- This one for businesses within RBWM
Thank you.
