Tesco have been working with Windsor Foodshare for many years now and next weekend is a collections weekend.
FareShare, who are the official partner of Tesco for the Collection weekends, have been appealing for volunteers to help out via there website and a good number have stepped up but there are a few slots that need an additional volunteer.
We’d also appreciate it if anyone who has taken part in these events in the past could possibly help out with volunteering to manage a 3 hour slot, taking care of the other volunteers, as Windsor Foodshare would really appreciate the extra cover to smooth the way.
These collection weekends do drive thousands of extra meals for the local Windsor Foodshare and so if you can step up for a few hours then please do.
Help is needed 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm next Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
