I Love Windsor Winter Solstice Event 2024 Pug Yard, Windsor Castle

BIG THANK YOU to Amy for allowing us to use this fantastic space for our first quarterley Community Champions event. We also took the opportunity to launch our first edition of the Maidenhead Directory of Community Groups and Charities.

I said a few words of thanks to our Community Champions and introduced the Lord Lieutenant Andrew Try who got our I Love Windsor Winter Solstice 2024 event off to a great start.

Charlie Davey, Enviroverse CIC, then painted a picture of the future with Society 5.0 with his presentation entitled “Considerations for the Future of Windsor”…

Eddie Piekut shared how the 3 Wise Men planned their trip to see baby Jesus… video seem to have cut short but there’s always next year 😉

We then moved across the courtyard to the dining area where Busy Buttons calmed us down with a spot of mindfulness crafting…

Anyone for lunch, perhaps a glass of Presecco, drop of red and a chat with other Community Champions over a most enjoyable buffet.

Enjoyed a few carols with The Royal Harmonics…

And then it was time to enjoy the Christmas trees in Windsor Castle

What a great way to get Christmas started this year…

Thank you to all who joined us and special mention to the Mayor of RBWM Cllr Simon Bond and Lieutenant General Philip Jones, Constable of Windsor Castle, for joining us for the early sessions… see you all in the New Year 😉

I Love Windsor Winter Solstice 2024

Thank you.
