Basil Brush turned on Windsor’s NEW Christmas lights, “The Crown Jewels” ably assisted by Prince Charming!
George Bathurst thanked Windsor & Eton Rotary for raising the money over the last few years… on behalf of the club, thank you George.
Windsor Duck Race each summer has raised thousands of pounds for the lights and I’d like to say a BIG THANK YOU shout out to King Edward Court for allowing us to sell race tickets over the month / 6 weeks leading up to the Mid-Summer Fayre and the duck race… and obviously YOU if you’ve bought a ticket π
The council boosted the fund with the money they get from builders to add something that the whole community can benefit from and this made up the Β£20,000 needed for these amazing lights… makes sure you pop into Windsor & enjoy them…
Sing along to the carols sung by the Choir of St George’s Chapel accompanied by The Egham Band… brilliant… well done all who took part…
