There is an economic model called the Regional Economic Multiplier Effect which basically says £1 spent locally will go to 6 or 7 other local businesses so becomes £6 or £7.
A £1 spend with Amazon goes off to where ever, never to be seen again.
Get along to the Farmer’s Markets next year and help local businesses.
