This month’s meeting was a far more friendly affair than the first RBWM Council Meeting of the new term in June. It came down to two main events… The latest plans for the Nicholson Shopping Centre and Cllr Donna Stimson’s motion for the RBWM to encourage the growth of Wild Flowers on the boroughs verges….

At the end of June we invited community groups and local organisations to take advantage of Tesco’s Foyer during August to find volunteers. We constantly hear that community groups are short of volunteers and so wanted to do what we could to support them. The Opportunity Knocked… a few stepped up… I’d like to celebrate…
