Land to the East of Burnham Close, Windsor Sold at Auction For…

A plot of Adopted Highway land in Windsor that has a few thousand nettles and 2 large trees has just sold at auction for £17,000.

The owner will be able to do nothing with it as it is essentially owned by the council as it is Adopted Highway land.

The best they will be able to do is say to friends they own land in Windsor.

I’d suggest they contact me and I will put them in touch with a local resident who may be willing to give them a few thousands pounds simply to stop this irritating auction process happening again in the future.

Local residents are currently working with the Windsor Ascot Maidenhead Community Land Trust to establish how best to protect these plots of land in the future. Make contact with them if you are a local resident concerned with this sort of activity.
