Georgie May’s Fundraiser for Coppafeel.org in Tesco on Friday 9th June

Please give generously on Friday and help Georgie May with her fundraiser for a good cause. She sent us a letter and it resonated so we had to try and help.

I am writing to you in regards to holding a potential fundraising/ awareness stall within your store in aid of the incredible charity CoppaFeel! with all proceeds going to the charity.

CoppaFeel! are a charity that’s work and aim is to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer in young people, by raising awareness around the importance of checking your chests regularly, knowing what to look out for and getting to know your normal.

The CoppaFee! support and fundraising team are called ‘Boobettes’, we power rangers of the chest checking world! I have awareness packs as well as an eye catching table display and being a Boobette means I also have public liability insurance.

Part of the reason I am fundraising for the charity is that in May 2021, at just 29 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It has become a passion of mine to share my story and to spread the CoppaFeel! message in hopes to encourage young women, and men, to check themselves for the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. As, without that early diagnosis, I might not be here today.

With that said, in September this year I am trekking across the French Alps with CoppaFeel!, Giovanna Fletcher (I’m a Celeb) and some other famous leaders such as Pete Wicks (TOWIE). In order to show my commitment to the Charity I have pledged to raise £2750 but I would love to go above and beyond this if I can.

Your support would be incredible and I hope that together we can raise vital funds and awareness towards this amazing charity and my trek across the French Alps. I have linked my Just Giving page below as well as a recent news article with more about my story.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Kindest regards,

Georgie May
