Windsor’s main community fridge is at 181 Oxford Road, Windsor in what was Duffey’s Bakery. It’s open from 11am to 12:30pm, Tuesday to Friday.

Saturday’s we take stock to Sawyer’s Close. Once or twice a month we host a fridge pop up there which is open to the wider community and residents from West Windsor are welcome to pop in. Any remaining food that needs rescuing is then taken to the community garden where residents have easy access.
Dates of future pop ups in the Pump Room from 11:00 to 11:30 are Sat 30th September, 7th & 14th October, 11th & 25th November and 2nd December.
On Sundays & Mondays food is rescued from us by residents at Broom Farm and shared amongst the army community.
More recently a couple of volunteers have been taking any food needing rescuing to Woody’s Cafe in the Pirate Park on Tuesday & Wednesday after the Community Fridge in Oxford Road has closed.
We are always keen to hear from people ready, willing and able to help us rescue food.
Please email Tiia on driven.forward@outlook.com if you would like to volunteer in some capacity.
Thank you.
