Don’t get overcome with stress about upsetting your friends & relatives… do something really positive with the items… give them to a good home…
I asked Daniel yesterday how much we raised last year… they did a raffle each week and raised £255 which was put in the Student Enterprise pot, enabling students to seed fund business ideas they came up with.
Last year we started collecting items in mid January… this year we’ll get in quick before they have been returned from whence they came 😉
So from Boxing Day until the end of January the trolley will be in the foyer with the banner below on the back board so you can identify where to put those unwanted items…
If you hear anyone mention unwanted Christmas gifts… tell them how they can add value to the world by donating them to The Green Room via Tesco (or directly).
