People to Places is a charitable organisation providing community transport and Shopmobility services to local residents with access and mobility issues, in and around the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead since 1989.
What one of our volunteers looks like…
The two main volunteer roles for People to Places involve driving, either an accessible minibus or your own car!! Both offer excellent opportunities to support local vulnerable adults who desperately need help with transport and mobility support. Training is provided and being part of a growing network really means that you never face a problem on your own!

P.S. Attached is a photo of our entry to the Cookham Gravity Grand Prix, combining two of our services, a modified mobility scooter with on-road transport, all brought about by a brilliant volunteer called Adam Allan! We’re just looking for someone to drive the scooter for the next Grand Prix in September 2024!?!
