We are members of the Friends of Eton Wick School PTA, supporting our lovely small village school as volunteers. A close team, we work incredibly well together and with the teachers raising much needed funds for the school. We.ve run mufti days, Christmas and Summer Fairs, an Elfridges stall, school discos and cakes sales to name but a few activities that are always popular among children, parents and teachers. The children are always the main focus and we love the role we play in strengthening our school community. Our mission is to make the best possible place for our children to learn, providing funds to pay for items or events the schools budget will not stretch to,
What one of our volunteers / supporters “looks” like…
A hard-working busy parent, juggling the school run, holding down a job, remembering the homework and planning what’s for tea. Passionate about their children and wanting the very best for them, giving up precious spare time to raise much needed funds for their amazing village school. Our volunteers never thought they were confident until they sold raffle tickets to strangers and have coffee with Santa ahead of the school fair. They are always coming up with ideas and thrive as part of a team.
Joining the Friends of Eton Wick School Charity has given them an incredible sense of achievement and community, not to mention friends for life. It feels good to know they are making a difference for thier children and for generations to come.
