Windsor Baptist Church hosts many community activities ranging from our Ukrainian drops in and after school club, our vibrant community family friendly term time cafe, the Tree House Community Kitchen, Rock Choir, the Repair Cafe, Fringe Events, Open Mike and other many Church activities. We pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome to all and that we aim to serve the needs of the local community as well as offering fantastic cappuccinos and home made cake!
What one of your volunteers / supporters “looks” like…
We rely on the kindness of our many volunteers to make this place as vibrant and friendly as it is. The Tree House Cafe has trained many budding baristas of all ages over the years and also for those who want to be part of a fabulous team serving drinks and food and saying hello to customers and their children is also part of the roles we can offer as well as clearing tables and operating the dishwasher. We can offer roles for all ages and abilities we just need people to be willing and eager to join in with us. It is a very supportive environment so if you are feeling a little nervous or lacking in confidence come and meet us and we hope we can encourage you to give it a go. The Cafe is term time and anyone who can offer a couple of hours a week is more than welcome, The other groups have opportunities to help and support as well so please contact us and come in for a chat if you want to get involved!
