Oakley Green, Fifield & District Community Association (OGAFCA)
As OGAFCA we aim to protect and enhance the life of our residents. We champion causes which are dear to the hearts of local people, for example fighting the proposed Holyport Studio application. Part of our remit is to organise social events which brings local people together and raises funds for local charities. Since 2019 we have taken over the organisation of The Fifield Fun Day which takes place every August and is probably the only country fair to have its own steam train.
What one of our volunteers / supporters “looks” like…
Our volunteers are enthusiastic team players who are willing to help with putting up and taking down gazebos, collecting equipment, running stalls or maybe just selling raffle tickets. They can be old or young, we have jobs suitable for all ages and capabilities. To support us people just need to turn up and join in!
