Windsor Humanists in collaboration with Reading Humanist are running a course this autumn, the One Life Course, to explore the humanist perspectives on life and living a good life. The course is open to anyone living in Berkshire and adjacent counties wanting to know more about humanism and the non religious perspectives on living a good life. It is suitable for those who are already humanists but who want to know more, for RE teachers or people of other faiths who just want to find out more about what humanists believe.
The course is an introduction to humanism including humanist perspectives on science, ethics, religion, ‘everyday humanism’ and society. There are 6 weekly sessions delivered by local humanists living in the Windsor and Reading areas on line via zoom every Thursday from 17th October to 28th November (we’ll be taking a week off for half-term on 31st October). The attached flyer lists the various dates and sessions. You can attend elected sessions or the whole programme for a small notional voluntary donation to cover our costs of putting on the course.
