Joining a 1000 dots this Christmas – Can YOU Help?
This is my 3rd year in the role of Community Champion at Tesco Dedworth and I’d like to try something new…
I get a number of people, lucky enough to have enough, wanting to know how they might help others this Xmas.
I get lots of community groups and schools asking for help to varying degrees…
Say £10 – £100 needed to do what they want to do this Christmas
The need might be for:
- a few mince pies
- food for a groups of pensioners to have afternoon tea
- tracksuits for teenagers
- selection boxes for a pre-school
- Then there’s 200 oranges for Christingle at the local church 😉
I have a budget of around £300 a quarter and I do what I can to make it stretch as far as possible.
Can you help me to help more community groups?
You can liaise with the groups directly or anonymously, as you wish.
Let me know if you’d like to join in the “Joining the Dots” Christmas Campaign and I’ll send you a list of those in need and you can pick a group to help, contacting them directly or we’ll do that for you.
(This is not about indiviudal need.)
