Voice of the Community

We’d like to launch a publication entitled “Voice of the Community”, produced quarterly, alongside our events, enabling us to share news from local community groups & charities and local businesses that are supporting them.

We recently changed our company to I Love Windsor CIC (Community Interest Company). The company’s primary aim is to help the community by promoting the efforts of community groups and charities whose work impacts Windsor and the surrounding area including RBWM as a whole and communities within a few miles of the boundary line.

To that end we have:

  • A blog that achieved over 80,000 page views in 2024
  • A Facebook Group that is tracking 25,000 views a month
  • The Windsor Directory of Community Groups & Charities (hard copy & digital)
  • The Maidenhead Directory of Community Groups & Charities (hard copy & digital)
  • We produced 1,000 hard copies of each and they are being distributed to the community via local groups, libraries, volunteers, individual requests and other logical channels. The feedback has been incredibly supportive and copies go like hot cakes 😉
  • The digital versions have had over 3,000 views (Windsor launched March 24, Maidenhead December 24).

Voice of the Community

Creating at least 1,000 copies of an A4 publication focused on Community. We aim to have around 32 pages. Sponsored by local businesses or philanthropists.

We had hoped to publish our first edition in conjunction with our Community Champions EXPO but we’ll try to get it off the ground in the summer…

DONATIONS

  • A donation of £20 or more enables us to hand deliver locally a copy of the next 4 editions of “Voice of the Community” through your door. Please add £10 for postage costs if outside Windsor. Thank you.

Thank you for your support.
