The Tesco Stronger Starts enables community groups to apply for funding. All qualifying entries are put in a melting pot and 3 selected each quarter to be on the board, as seen above.
Customers vote by placing tokens in their favourite group. Kids vote by putting two tokens in each slot 😉 They don’t worry about who is listed…
Everyone wins… most votes at the end of the quarter gets £1500, 2nd gets £1000 and 3rd £500.
But to win it, you have to be in it… that requires a form to be filled in which isn’t too onerous but it is admin and so many of us hate admin.
The aim of the 2 hour workshop is to give you some guidance on how to go about it. Perfect for those that get dizzy when they see a form.
