Give Alexandra Gardens back to the People

Take a Look at the RBWM Petition Results Since 2020

The petition to Give Alexandra Gardens back to the People has so far received 243 votes which in just 2 weeks is pretty good. Would be nice to get it over 250 this evening…

Doing some analysis on the 85 petitions which have been run since 2020 at RBWM. They have received over 60,000 votes, averaging 713 per petition. Currently just 3 are active.

The TOP petition was about saving our Advantage Card Parking Discount with 7188 votes but that didn’t happen.

2nd & 4th spot grabbed the attention, as it impacts all of us. Back in 2020, some folk wanted their bins collected as often as possible. I wonder how many would vote the same way now? Or would their kids lead the way and say NO, we need to stop consuming to save the planet.

3rd & 8th were looking to save the Maidenhead Golf Course but that has also failed!

That’s 3 failures… we need some WINNERS…

6th spot with over 2,000 votes was encouraging RBWM to increase the measuring of air pollution caused by motor vehicles and this did actually succeed in making a change.

12th spot, one around cancelling plans of turning Clewer & Dedworth into a low traffic neighborhood also won through.

We need a third… here’s an idea, let’s save Alexandra Gardens from becoming a 24/7 funfair and give it back to residents… currently in 37th spot with 243 votes… let’s get it above average 😉
