Apply for a Tesco Stronger Starts Grant – Supporting Windsor Schools & Community Groups

Last Friday I ran a workshop on Stronger Starts. Representatives from two local schools attended and we ran through the briefing notes below, created off the back of the Tesco website and input from Sarah Stone who helps schools with their applications.

Then on Tuesday this week I received an email from Mike from Windsor Writers Group that their project “Young Writers Competition” had been advised “We are delighted to let you know that your application to Tesco Stronger Starts has been successful and your project will be put forward to a customer vote in Tesco stores. Voting will commence in store from the first week in April 2025 until the end of June 2025.”

Great news. I’ve offered to help those who attended the workshop with the process and I’m happy to help other Windsor schools and community groups that would like help, just ask.
