Massi Muratori wasn’t happy when RBWM announced they were closing the tourist information centre, it had been 15 years of his life, and so took the bones of an idea to the owners of Indelibly Windsor and a collaboration with The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) was formed.

The new Windsor Visitor Information Centre is now located directly opposite Windsor Castle, in the beautiful former Barclays Bank building.

This initiative was born from a shared desire to continue offering an exceptional welcome to the many thousands of visitors who come to Windsor each week. Following the closure of the former council-run centre, the need for a dedicated tourist information hub in Windsor was more important than ever — and this new partnership ensures the town’s heritage and hospitality remain front and centre.

If you’ve visited Windsor before, chances are you’ve met Massi. With many years of experience working at the original Windsor Tourist Information Centre under RBWM, he’s no stranger to the town or its many visitors.

Now part of the Indelibly Windsor team, Massi brings his warm hospitality, deep local knowledge, and multilingual skills — Italian, German, French, Spanish, and English — to our new Visitor Information Centre. Whether you’re buying tickets for the Castle, bus tours, boat cruises, or walking tours, Massi and the team are here to help you make the most of your time in Windsor.
