A mains pipe broke recently at The Willows Maidenhead Road, Windsor and flooded the area.
Thames Water have put in a temporary fix, seemingly running pipes to join to another mains pipe just down the road. They have permission till the end of March to get the work done, sign is wrong…

This diversion is in place while at the same time Thames Water are connecting pipes to the new AL21 site and there are plans for hundreds more houses to be built in the area!
My question at Planning next Wednesday evening will be “How can we keep giving permission to build new estates when Thames Water do not seem to be proactively building the infrastructure to cope with growth? Seemingly preferring to be re-active, while having profits equating to nearly a billion pounds a year!”
Thank you.
