Pedal To The Park 2, Sunday 19th July 2026
This Pedal To The Park is the second big bike ride organised by Windsor Cycle Hub. We’ll show you how easy it is to cycle from Windsor to the Great Park. Naturally, a degree of fitness, & your gears, are required. We can help you with the gears.
Reception at Stag Meadow (by Windsor & Eton FC) opens at 10:30. Then our first ‘Bike Bus’ departs for the Great Park village green. It’s a 30 min ride for most people, with stops along the way to drink & rest. We’ll wait for you.
The 3 bike buses will be led by our volunteers, with a ‘conductor’ on the back. You can also make your own way to the village, just follow our ‘WCH’ arrows.
Booking’s essential to qualify for our event insurance, & so we can monitor visitor numbers. Please use this link, or scan the QR code on our poster.
We’ll have a picnic zone on the village green. Please bring your own food & drink – we’re aiming for an ice cream van too, to help you cool down.
On the green we’ll have fun bike related activities for kids, & big kids, to try. Plus, we’ll have 2 additional routes marked out in the park – with our volunteers on hand to assist.
Pedal To The Park is for everyone, we’d love to see whole families including kids, nanas & grandads. It’s fine to come on your own, or with a few friends, by the time you ride home you’ll have even more friends.
Stag Meadow’s an easy 15 mins ride from central Windsor. Just follow the signs (little red No.4s/bike icons) from outside the Leisure Centre. Go up Vansittart Road, past the Skate Park, on to Bulkeley Avenue & then cross St Leonard’s Road. There’s very little car parking at Stag Meadow, & none in the village, so it’s a chance to prove that you can cycle all the way.
