Plans for September 2026

Morning all, it’s time to have some time away from the day to day management of the website and prepping for the next thing.

We’ve re-jigged the site, as we like to do from time to time, giving it a calmer vibe.

Rather than the blog being all over the front page, it’s now set up under “Community News”

“Windsor Day” has been proclaimed by the Town Crier, so “from henceforth 17th July will be Windsor Day” I believe his words were 😉 We’ll be working on an event for next year.

I’m still waiting on the report from RBWM about “Alexandra Gardens” following my meeting in April! I will be talking to the cabinet member about his thoughts and ideas for, what should be, a most wonderful space.

The “Community Directory” of Windsor’s Community Groups and Charities has seen almost 3,000 hard copies produced and distributed, with over 5,000 page views of the online publication. With only a few hundred copies left, we’ll need a new sponsor for the next edition.

We supported the “Wellness Hub” into being and they are looking for more engagement in 2027.

For 2027 we’ll be looking for one or two “Sponsor” to help us with our mission.

If you view the “Home” page you’ll note our proposed switch of emphasis, away from solely focusing on the directory, on to what some would call a more holistic approach:

I Love Windsor CIC: Building a Community that Cares

Enjoy the new calmer look… we’ll be steady away during the remainder of July & August, looking to re-charge our batteries and come back bursting with ideas for the autumn…

Thank you for reading.
