It’s amazing the amount of time and effort the team, lead by Claire Milne and John Bastow, have put into creating the Windsor Neighbourhood Plan.
Go download a copy for yourself and just read it, the level of detail is inspiring… thank you to those involved.
And while it has cost a mere £40,000 to get to where it is, that money is mostly spent on outside consultants who help the committee navigate the process.
This pales into insignificance against the £500,000+ the RBWM have spent on consultants to produce the Borough Local Plan and it is now stuck in a holding pen while the inspector decides what should happen next. I understand that one option could be she sends them back to the drawing board!
Well if she does, I hope the RBWM powers that be are smart enough to engage Claire, John and their team to get it on track… crazy not to use a proven local resource.
