Election forms filed with RBWM and just shy of 3,000 election flyers delivered through letter boxes in Clewer & Dedworth West. Most of those miles, done over 15 days, were with my mate Sid the Snoodle… he wasn’t allowed down The Willows Riverside Park and I didn’t take him around the flats.
I’ve obviously missed some but not many and I feel that was a job well done.
I decided not to knock on doors. Being a Cllr for the last few years I recognise that many older residents don’t want strangers knocking at their door and believe it or not, in reality, not everyone wants to talk politics 😉
It’s very clear on the flyer how to get hold of me if people want to sit down and talk some things through.

At work I have organised a notice board for residents to find out a little more about their local candidates, across the 4 wards surrounding the store. There is also a leaflet dispenser.
DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR ID ON ELECTON DAY

And on Tuesday 11th April between 10am & 12pm I’ll be in Woody’s Cafe at the Pirate Park if anyone would like to pop along and say hello. Similarly on Thursday 13th April between 1pm & 3pm. No need to book but if you’d rather set a time, contact me on 07717 820823.
Thank you.
Jon
