Driven Forward run a Community Fridge at 181 Oxford Road Windsor SL4 5DX
Our primary purpose is to rescue perfectly fine ,short dated and surplus food which our volunteers collect from local shops and supermarkets and prevent it from otherwise going to waste and into landfills.. Everyone is welcome to visit the community fridge in Oxford Road where the collected food is redistributed against a minimum donation of £3 per visit which helps us with running costs . We are not a FOODBANK and the community fridge is open to everyone to help us prevent food waste
What one of our volunteers looks like…
Assist in our community well being hub which will be open to serve a free community meal on a Sunday and free community social activities. We also need volunteers to assist in our community fridge which is open Tuesday to Friday and hours 10.30-12.30
