Windsor Repair Cafe

Windsor Repair Café is a volunteer-run event where repair coaches help visitors to fix their beloved broken items and extend it’s life. Items that can be fixed vary greatly, ranging from small electrical items (e.g. kettles, toasters etc.), ceramics, upholstery, bicycles, clothes and much more! Why throw it away when it can be brought back to life with just a little help?

Learn new skills, meet new people, and create the habit of repairing and reusing things, to prevent items from unnecessarily ending up in landfills.

The events are held monthly on every third Saturday, between 10am – 2pm at The Windsor Baptist Church, Victoria St, Windsor SL4 1EH

What one of our volunteers looks like…
We would love to hear from anyone in Windsor with fixing skills to join our small team of fixers. The more fixers we have the more repairs we can help with. We are looking for a wide range of skills from general repair, to small electric and mechanical appliances, computers, and loved items. We only need your help every third Saturday of the month (depending on your availability).

  1. Can i ask – do you repair items or just advise how to repair them myself? i have a broken table lamp and a broken statuette.

    1. We repair if we can and advise what to do if we can’t. Sometimes a part might be required. We advise what and where to get it, then bring it back to the next cafe and we complete the repair. Come along next Saturday between 10 and 2 and we will have look.
