Alzheimers Dementia Support is a local independent Charity that assists, guides and actively supports people living with dementia within the local community. We provide a wide range of Services and interactive activities designed and delivered to improve the lives of people we support. We cover Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, Langley and surrounding areas We produce a monthly newsletter which details all our services such as
Singing for Pleasure, Seated Exercises, Dementia Information Hub, Moves & Grooves Tea Dance Afternoon, Asian Singing and Dancing, Lunch Clubs, Connection Cafe, activities at BCA and Out & About. We offer home visits and information and advice via phone and email
What one of our volunteers / supporters “looks” like…:
Our Out & About volunteers along with a member of Staff provide a respite service providing stimulating and fun days out for able people with early stage dementia.
They take up to 8 people with dementia out for the day to an activity or a place of interest. Our dedicated and experienced volunteers are all dementia trained and have an enhanced DBS certificate
