Claremont Singers
The Claremont Singers is a ladies soprano and alto community choir that meets on a Monday evening 7.30-9.00pm, in Holy Trinity and the Garrison Church, Windsor, during term time. Singing is a wonderful way to enhance one’s mental health and the choir is a friendly group that supports all its singers and welcomes new members.
There are around 20-25 singers of mixed ability and we sing short pieces of music from a wide variety of genres. Music styles enjoyed are: classical, musical, film, jazz, calypso, spiritual, gospel, folk, modern, carol, lullaby and many more.
The choir is a non-audition choir and reading music is not essential. We have an excellent Music director and Accompanist and aim to have a short Summer and Christmas concert in the church where we rehearse.

What one of our volunteers / supporters “looks” like…:
The choir consists of many people who volunteer in a wide variety of organisations and local schools but due to our close association with The Thames Hospice and Holy Trinity Church, all proceeds from our concerts are donated to these two organisations.
Where practicable, the choir is happy to sing at care homes, especially during the Christmas period. For the last 3 years, the choir has been invited to perform in the Sounding Chamber at Cliveden National Trust.
