The Windsor Boys’ School Boat Club (WBSBC), was established in 1940 and has grown to become the most successful state comprehensive school rowing club in the country.
We are one of only around 20 state schools that offer the opportunity to row, and since 2000, the boys have regularly represented Great Britain at junior level including at the World Championships and have won the Henley Royal Regatta Fawley Challenge Cup on multiple occasions (the most prestigious rowing club event in the world).
The Boatclub currently has over 100 boys rowing at all levels from beginners to high performers. The physical and psychological benefits to the boys who participate are multiple and hugely important for them to live healthy lives and thrive, and providing them with important lifelong skills.
