The following Windsor candidates have opted to be part of this series – listed in the order they replied to my invitation.
- David Buckley Independent video answers to all questions
- Pavitar Kaur Mann Labour video answers to all questions
- Jack Rankin Conservative video answers to all questions
- Michael Boyle Green Party video answers to all questions
- Julian Tisi Liberal Democrats video answers to all questions
- Simran Kaur Dhillon Workers Party video answers to all questions
- GREWAL, Harl – Reform UK – we have reached out, no response
The election date doesn’t give candidates much time to get their messages out to residents and certainly not enough time to canvass the whole area. The Windsor Constituency Parliamentary seat has changed since the last election, bringing in new areas to the north, east and south which may have a significant impact.
For residents to get a clearer picture of who the candidates are we have been running weekly video meetings, 121 over ZOOM on Tuesday afternoons and then shared when ready, by email and from this page.
The aim is that residents will have a better “feel” for each candidate by the end of the process and put their “X” in the candidates box who is the best person for the job on 4th July 2024.
- 2nd July – last chance to impress
Print off the PDF and ask local retailers to put it up so others might be better informed… thank you.
OTHER HUSTINGS

10am on Thursday 20th LIVE questions on BBC Berkshire
May the best candidate win…
Analysing ward election counts for 1st & 2nd place. Wards tend to have 2 or 3 Cllrs and so you need to divide the count by the number of Cllrs to get a Constitency count for each ward.
Adding these up by party brings us to 20,825 votes / 28.1%, less than half the expected turnout for a general election.

All the main parties will have candidates for every seat in the general election or should have! Much of Windsor sees token Lab candidates for borough elections but the picture is very different for a general election.
We asked a question, who do you intend voting for, across 14 FB Groups and 11 allowed it to be published… the image shows the count after 24 hours, a few days later has anything changed? Take a look…

Thank you.
