It’s the Mayor’s Charity Dinner tonight at The Guildhall. Only right to take along a few prizes from Tesco for the raffle. He is the first citizen of the borough and spends the whole year celebrating local community groups and charities so deserves a few bottles of Cherry & Chocolate vino 😉
We got married at The Guildhall a few year’s back, a golden theme it would seem, so enjoy a “bit of a do” there.
We like dressing up smart now and again… above didn’t last long as The Castle Hotel was full of lillies that night and Ali doesn’t get on with them so well!
The Harte and Garter for our 40th Birthday was fun, with a Champagne & Chocolate fountain, YUM YUM… thankfully not a lilly in sight 😉
Then there was the good old days of dressing up when the world was all shades of sepia…
And there were days, long, long ago when one had to worry about one’s hair before hitting the town xx
Will try not to drink all six bottles before we get there 😉
