It’s OK, you’ll not be eaten alive, these Lions have human form and are one of the amazing fundraising organisations we have in Windsor.
Every year they do their Swimathon and encourage local charities to enter teams and raise money for their cause.
WIth 3 weeks to go until the fundraiser, I Love Windsor are happy to give any teams that reach out a push…
Please give if you can…

Troopers Equestrian
Team captain: Catherine Forster
We are raising funds for our new Equine Therapy facility at Alexander First School!
Troopers Community Equestrian Centre is based within our school grounds, which is on an Army estate. Although we are a public school we have a high attendance of Army Service children. We have found this facility to be very successful for these children, especially those who need extra support while parents are deployed or have recently moved to the area.
Setting up Troopers Equestrian has taken a lot of hard work and dedication with the help of the Army especially the Coldstream Guards, Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and the Windsor Lions Club.
Troopers Equestrian provides Equine Therapy sessions, Riding lessons, Equine Care and Pony days to pupils of the school, Army Service children and our local community. We offer Equine Therapy sessions to children with SEND, mental health problems and trauma. Equine therapy has been proven to help reduce anxiety, decrease stress levels and provides a safe space for children to explore and regulate their emotions.
We are really excited to be able to offer this to the local community and any donations made will help support us to do so.
Thank you.
