New Partner Joins RBWM Voluntary & Community Sector Partnership
Today I Love Windsor CIC joined RBWM Voluntary & Community Sector Partnership for our first event together. Should’ve got a picture but we’ll do that next time 😉
We’ve joined in previous events but it was really nice to be formally asked to join the Partnership. They do alot of good work in bringing community people together and we’re only too pleased to add value where we can.
Today’s meeting saw around 50 community minded people come together for a meeting at Maidenhead Synagogue. The programme followed the following format:
- 1000 – 1030 Arrival & Networking
- 1030 – 1040 Welcome & Introduction in the main hall
- 1045 – 1130 Small Group Meetings
- 1130 – 1150 Refreshments
- 1150 – 1225 Plenary Session Feedback
- 1225 – 1230 Announcements
- 1230 – 1300 Networking
We discussed our priorities, challenges and improving collaboration in small groups. Following a refreshment break, we heared the feedback from the group facilitators and there was an opportunity for any participant to share any insights they have gained through the discussions.
Today’s event was great, lots of energy and ideas shared amongst those present. I suggested a collaberative future event where we focus our energy on one organisation and explore how we might all add value… let’s see what happens next 😉
