How Many Ask for Peace on Earth at Christmas?
When I asked Gemini for stats on those asking for Peace on Earth, it shared some numbers: 72% say spending time with family is their top priority. However, for those who find the season stressful, “peace and relaxation” is a dominant wish—53% of people in 2025 reported a longing for a calmer, more restful Christmas Day.
Only about 2% of people explicitly list “peace in the world” as the primary thing that makes their holiday fulfilling.
Not surprised, a little disappointed, perhaps we can try harder next year?
Good news, over half of shoppers (58%) now prefer buying from brands that offer sustainable or ethically made products.
