Join our talented cast of Year 9 students, from The Windsor Boys’ School and Windsor Girls’ School, in this high-energy musical packed with incredible songs and a powerful true story.
Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies JR. follows Jack Kelly and a group of newsboys who stand up against unfair price increases imposed by powerful newspaper publishers. What begins as one boy’s fight quickly grows into a city-wide movement as the newsies discover the strength of unity, courage, and standing up for what’s right.
Suitable for children aged 7 and above, but you don’t need children to enjoy the show! The performances are OPEN TO ALL residents from Windsor and beyond.
VENUE – The Old Court, St Leonard’s Road, Windsor SL4 3BL. A wonderful theatre with tiered seating so all seats have a good view. There is an excellent bar, and snacks will be for sale on the night. Parking available at the nearby Windsor College public car park.
