ZEIBEKIKO AND COCKTAILS: THE REAL GREEK BRINGS AUTHENTIC GREEK FOOD AND DANCING TO WINDSOR
Continuing the New Year festivities, The Real Greek has teamed up with the UK’s leading Greek dance company, Figoura, to create the ultimate Grecian evening – pairing delicious Mediterranean food with an authentic, Greek dancing experience.
The event will see Figoura’s leading dance teacher Jack Iacovou take attendees at the one-off event through a series of traditional Greek dance moves, from the complex Sousta, the popular Kalamatianos or the Zeibekiko – where men often dance on tables or chairs as part of the routine – for a real taste of Athenian night-life.
The evening of Greek music, dancing and canapes, including succulent lamb skewers, daily home-blended hummus and succulent Octopus, launches The Real Greek Windsor’s week-long January menu offers. From Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st January they will be offering 50% off Main Menu food and from Monday 22nd – Friday 26th, 25% off Main Menu food to all customers (*T&C’s apply).
Residents of Windsor can apply for limited places at the FREE evening, Friday 19th January, by emailing therealgreek@wcommunications.co.uk
Doors open at 7pm and The Real Greek is at 2 River St, Windsor SL4 1QT.
Jack Iacovou, Figoura’s lead dance teacher, says
“We’re excited to bring traditional Greek dancing to Windsor and give people an authentic Grecian experience. We hope everyone will enjoy getting involved and learn some new moves – of course while dining on delicious food and drinks!”
Christos Karatzenis, Operations Director at The Real Greek, says
“Greek dancing is a huge part of Greek culture, as is the food. We wanted to bring an event to our Windsor restaurant which represented a real Greek experience of dining and having fun together. We hope people will enjoy it and come back to enjoy our menu offers in our newly refurbished restaurant.”
