My kids are so inspirational, I want them to do things their way, that’s not me giving permission (they’d hate that and rebel!) but because the only way to get anywhere in life is to keep trying new things. Elements might be paths well traveled by others but new adventures bring new learning which enables you to work out what you think is right and wrong for you. And as long as you are true to yourself you will ultimately “be happy” and as far as I can tell, that’s the best ambition you can have in life.
It’s what I told my careers teacher… they laughed but who cares 😉
My son went and took part in a silent protest in Windsor, social distancing from others, no desire to be centre of attention but simply show his concern for his fellow man in a way that made sense to him.
My daughter turned to the drawing board. Not designing some graphic that shouts at the viewer, it does it simply with people of different nations and so can be worn on more than one occasion 😉
