A Great Example of Rotary Supporting the Community when asked…

Rim Kennou, Practice Manager at Datchet Health Centre receives 110 face shields from Windsor St George Rotary Club, the gifting was undertaken by President Chris Davies and Past President Richard Cox.

3d printer bought for Windsor Boys School

At the end of April I wrote a blog about a Facebook post by James Manwaring from Windsor Boys’ School who shared an appeal to buy a couple of 3D printers so they could make face shields for the local community.

When I spoke to Phil Hall who organised things at the school last week, they had been able to buy more machines than originally planned and to date produce over 6,000 face shields!

Richard Cox pinged over some photos this morning … what a great example of the community coming together to support each other during Covid and which will also support students at Windsor Boys with their future learning.

Thank you everyone who played their part.
