A Community Interest Company ‘OK Our Kids’ is very closely involved with Rotary in this area. OK our Kids have been supported by local councils and Thames Valley Police. They have produced a board game entitled Mistakes and Ladders which provides the opportunity for children to play a game together in the classroom to help them identify and discuss together the dangers children face in everyday life. The Rotary Club of Windsor St George feels the game is a brilliant way to help children feel safe at home, at school and in the community.

We successfully applied and received a grant from the Louis Baylis Trust to enable us to purchase a number of games to distribute to the Windsor First Schools. The games were very well received with one headteacher saying ‘We were so pleased to receive our games this week. The children are delighted and have already been playing with the games. It is a brilliant resource. Thank you and your organisation, Our Kids Charity and the Louis Baylis Trust for their generous donation’.

The Rotary Club of Windsor St George is very grateful to the Louis Baylis Charitable Trust for supporting our project and to Tony and Lynn Churchill at OK our Kids for producing the game and for all the work they are doing for young people in our area.
