Cash savvy parents can’t wait to get to Old Windsor on Saturday 13th November when Mum2Mum Market returns to the Old Windsor Memorial Hall for the last sale in the area. The award-winning pop-up market will have 20 stalls laden with quality second-hand baby and children’s goods – all quality brands in excellent condition. Previous sales have drawn over 100 buyers, some queuing half an hour beforehand to get the best bargains. There are serious savings to be made by buying second-hand. With large items like designer prams selling for around a third of the new price and baby and children’s clothes from just 50p, parents can save thousands of pounds on kitting out their kids.

All the stalls are held by local mums who recycle their own children’s outgrown clothes, toys, books and equipment to other mums and they keep 100% off the profits.

Novice sellers are coached prior to the event with sellers’ tips and pricing guides to maximise their sales on the day.
Mum2mum market was started by Wimbledon mum of two Cath Harrop in 2011 and scooped the Best New Business Award at the Merton Business Awards in 2012.

Cath says ‘Mum2mum market is so popular because we make it really easy for parents to recycle their outgrown children’s goods. In today’s economic climate and with the rising costs of parenting family budgets need to stretch that little bit further. With mum2mum market every one’s a winner. Buyers can source great quality second-hand goods at a fraction of the high street price and sellers keep 100% of their profits. Our top seller mum made £550 selling at a mum2mum market.’

Cath now has a network of local mums running Mum2Mum Markets nationwide including Emma Taylor in Old Windsor.
Mum2Mum Market will be at the Old Windsor Memorial Hall on Saturday 13th November 3:30-5:30pm. Admission is £2 on the door.
