Are the District Environmental Crime Officers being a little heavy handed?

I’m being told that the DECOs are back out in force and being very enthusiastic about ticketing residents.

If you get fined for dropping a fag butt after all the publicity there has been and the high levels of awareness there is, then I have little sympathy.

But if you felt your experience was a little heavy handed then I’d like you to email me, telling me of your experience, so I can share it with the officers responsible for the contract.
