More Awards for Windsor’s own Royal Harmonics!

The award-winning Royal Harmonics – Windsor’s own A Cappella chorus – had further success at the Sing 2022 Barbershop Convention in Harrogate over the Bank Holiday weekend. This prestigious annual event was organised by the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) for Quartets and Choruses from around the country.

Coming fourth overall in a tightly fought contest, they were also awarded the Most Entertaining Chorus trophy. This coveted award is judged by a panel of experienced singers from The Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers, who view all performances on the day and select the most memorable for recognition.

Also, taking part in the quartet competition were Double Bluff, Quartissential and Royal Standard featuring members of the main chorus. After excellent performances, all made it through to the national semi-finals with Royal Standard progressing to the finals and an eventual sixth place.

Royal Harmonics Harrogate

Under the leadership of Sean Bui, The Royal Harmonics are focused on getting back to full strength and making up for lost time after 2 years of challenging rehearsals impacted by lock downs and the Covid 19 restrictions.

The success in Harrogate is a most welcome boost and a springboard to the Chorus’s planned 2022 show in Windsor Parish Church on 8th October, as well as the charity events the Chorus supports over the Christmas period for Thames Hospice, Marie Curie and other local good causes.

The Royal Harmonics are always looking for new members, so if you would like the opportunity to come along and sing with them, please get in contact via their website: or email:
