Empowering communities is the driving force for a unique party being held at Maidenhead Library in late September, to honour and celebrate the borough’s residents, community groups, and voluntary services organisations.
Communities Celebration 2023, is being organised by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead in partnership with NHS Frimley, to showcase the varied successful community projects across the borough as well as the borough’s Community Champions, World Cafes, and Innovation Funding, which have all succeeded due to collaborative working.
Residents, community groups and voluntary organisations alike are invited to the event on the evening of 29 September, which will be hosted on the ground and first floor of the library. It will have a party atmosphere with a live DJ, free fun activities such as Thai Chi and Henna painting, plus free food, and refreshments.
