Finally, after 18 months of inactivity caused by the builder demolishing too much of the property, a Section 106 Deed Agreement has been signed by RBWM and the developer, enabling work to continue.

I do hope they pull their fingers out and have the walls up before Christmas to minimise the impact of damp on the neighbour’s property.
I’ve been very concerned about this after creating a stink because the builders were just taking the law into their own hands but then felt mighty guilty as the neighbours had to deal with the stress of damp coming through the walls last winter.
Developers can’t be allowed to just do what they like but I wish RBWM had greater powers to get things done to help neighbours in these situations.
Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly from here.
