Yesterday the Friends of Spital Cemetery were joined by Rotarians to plant purple crocuses.
Millions of purple crocuses are planted every year by Rotarians to draw attention to the need to END POLIO NOW.

As children are immunised their little finger is dipped in purple dye to show they have had the oral vaccine. The purple crocuses represent saving the lives of millions…
Windsor & Eton Rotary Club would like to thank the Friends of Spital Cemetery, Age Concern at Spencer Denny Day Centre, Residents of Connaught Court, Windsor Baptist Church and Trevelyan Middle School’s PTFA for being part of this year’s planting.
To find out what clubs in the UK are getting up to see here…
History of Polio here…
Thank you.
